Now, great disasters have begun to come down; have you not welcomed the Lord?
Do you worry that you will probably fall into disasters if you fail to welcome the Lord? Then what should you do?
The Lord Jesus said, “Seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you” (Matthew 7:7). The Lord’s words tell us that we must take the initiative to find the Lord’s appearance so that we have the opportunity to welcome Him. Then how should we welcome the Lord’s appearance?
Let’s look at 2 passages of God’s words to find the way.
Almighty God says, “God’s six-thousand-year plan of management is coming to an end, and the gate of the kingdom has already been opened to all those who seek His appearance. Dear brothers and sisters, what are you waiting for? What is it that you seek? Are you waiting for God to appear? Are you searching for His footprints? How the appearance of God is to be longed for! And how difficult it is to find God’s footprints! In an age such as this, in a world such as this, what must we do to witness the day on which God appears? What must we do to keep pace with the footsteps of God?”
“Since we are searching for the footprints of God, it behooves us to search for God’s will, for the words of God, for His utterances — because wherever there are new words spoken by God, the voice of God is there, and wherever there are the footsteps of God, God’s deeds are there. Wherever there is the expression of God, there God appears, and wherever God appears, there the truth, the way, and the life exist. In seeking God’s footprints, you have ignored the words ‘God is the truth, the way, and the life.’ And so, many people, even when they receive the truth, do not believe that they have found God’s footprints, and still less do they acknowledge the appearance of God. What a grave mistake!”
It can be seen that the key to welcoming the Lord is to pay attention to listening to God’s voice and looking for God’s actual utterances. When we hear some people testifying the Lord’s return, we should actively seek and investigate. Once we find God’s words of the last days and hear God’s voice, we must accept, obey, and follow Him. Then we will welcome the Lord.
