Do Not Ignore These Scriptures In Welcoming the Return of the Lord!
Do you know? About the Lord’s second coming, there are not only the prophecies of descending among clouds in the Bible but also the prophecies of the Lord’s secret coming that can not be ignored if you want to greet the Lord.
“Behold, I come as a thief”(Rev 16:15). “If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come on you” (Rev 3:3). “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me” (Rev 3:20). “For as the lightning, that lightens out of the one part under heaven, shines to the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in His day. But first must He suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” (Luk 17:24–25).
These verses mention that the Lord’s return shall be “the coming of the Son of man” and “as a thief,” and He will “stand at the door, and knock.” All these mean that the Lord will become flesh and arrive secretly. If the Lord returns publicly by riding upon clouds, everyone will see Him. How could these words be fulfilled? And everyone will bow down before God when the Lord comes among clouds, how could the prophecy “But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation” be fulfilled? In fact, the Lord’s second coming is first in the manner of descending secretly as the incarnate Son of man. Most people can hardly recognize Him as God, nor can they know His true identity. Thus, some people dare to resist, condemn, and reject the Lord’s return; this is how the prophecies that the Son of man is rejected by this generation come true.
Now the disaster is getting bigger and bigger, and the omens of the second coming of the Lord have appeared. It is a critical time for us to greet the Lord. If we blindly hold on to the view of the Lord’s coming in clouds yet do not accept the work of the Lord’s secret advent, we will pass up the opportunity of greeting the Lord before the disaster and being fully saved, and fall into disasters.
