Are You Yearning for the Lord to Return and Save Us From Suffering?
The Lord Jesus once made a promise to us, saying: “I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also” (John 14:2–3). For 2,000 years, all the true believers in God have been yearning for the Lord to come and rapture them into the kingdom of heaven.
Currently, various disasters such as earthquakes, pandemic, and floods have been growing worse and worse. On October 25, a typhoon hit the Philippines. It had a big impact on people’s lives, with classes in schools as well as work in government offices suspended. So far, it has caused 16 deaths and left more than 60,000 people homeless.
Facing the illnesses, death, and pressures of life caused by disasters, more and more people are increasingly eager for the Lord to come and save them from suffering. Now, the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been fulfilled, but why have we not yet seen the Lord come with clouds? How exactly will the Lord come? And how can we welcome the Lord?
