Only by Understanding the Two Ways of the Lord’s Return Can We Welcome Him
Friends, in your many years of belief in the Lord, have you always been hoping that the Lord will come upon clouds soon to bring believers into the kingdom of heaven?
Now, disasters are getting worse and worse and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have been essentially fulfilled, but we have not seen the Lord coming with clouds. Instead, we hear many people testifying that the Lord has already returned in the flesh and come secretly before the great disasters. What’s going on with this? In fact, in waiting for the Lord’s coming, most people only hold to the prophecies of His coming among clouds, but ignore the prophecies that He will also come secretly through becoming flesh as the Son of man.
For instance, the Bible says, “Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.” (Revelation 16:15).
“Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.” (Matthew 24:44).
Seen from these verses, in the last days, the Lord will first become flesh and come in secret, express the truth to do a stage of work of saving mankind, and perfect a group of overcomers before the great disaster; after God’s secret work of saving mankind is over, the catastrophes will come, and God will begin to reward good and punish evil, then publicly descending upon clouds to appear to all nations and all peoples. Now, the Lord has come secretly before the disasters. Only if we humbly seek to accept the work and words of the Lord’s secret coming can we welcome the Lord. If we blindly wait for the Lord to come with clouds, we will miss the opportunity of welcoming Him and fall into disasters, weeping and gnashing our teeth.
